As part of our committment to commemorate the service and sacrifice of Australians in War, Conflict & Peacekeeping activities, 1st Mittagong Scouts will be participating in the Mittagong RSL Sub Branch ANZAC Day March and Service held on ANZAC Day 2026 (25th April 2026).

Youth and Leaders are encouraged to participate in the march and service as a member of the group and in respect to our veterans 

Youth and Leaders are to be in full Scout Uniform (neat and tidy with scarfs rolled correctly). Medals and decorations to be work correctly (I.e if wearing medals or decorations for a family member, please ensure they are worn on the right hand side of the shirt - or opposite side to your heart) 

Members are to meet at the Cnr of Albion Street & Old Hume Hwy (Main Street), Mittagong NSW at 9:45am to enable us to be marshalled by the Mittagong RSL Sub Branch team. A wreath has been arranged for the Group to lay at the service. A youth member from each section present will be selected to lay the wreath. 

The march will depart at 10:30am and walk to where the service will be conducted (at the memorial in Mittagong) with the service starting at 10:45am where our members will participate and a wreath will be laid by our members. After the service the group may depart with family members.
