The Australian Wildlife Sanctuary will be visiting the Scout hall to run an educational session about Australian animals that Scouts may encounter while bushwalking or camping. A small selection of native animals will be brought by trained handlers, with a focus on animal behaviour, safety, and respectful interaction with wildlife. Cub Scouts will join with Bargo Cubs for this activity, with the same program delivered during two sessions: Cub Scouts from 6:00–7:30 pm. All interactions will be closely supervised by sanctuary staff and Scout leaders, with handwashing required before and after the session.
